VHS FX Studio Terms of Service

Effective date: August 5, 2026

VHS FX Studio is provided by Origin 51 LLC.

Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using VHS FX Studio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

Origin 51 LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful personal and production purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable Apple license terms.

Production Use and Required Credit

Commercial or production use of the app, its effect system, presets, source code, interface concepts, or generated VHS/CRT treatment requires a reasonably visible written credit. Production use includes monetized content, advertising, branded content, film, television, streaming, music videos, client work, paid events, product launches, commercial social media, and redistribution of a modified version of the app or its source code.

The credit may appear in end credits, a video or post description, project documentation, product acknowledgments, or another location a reasonable viewer or client can find. If attribution is technically or contractually impossible, request a written waiver before release by emailing origin51llc@gmail.com. Attribution is not required for private, non-commercial use.

Your Media and Rights

You retain ownership of media you import or create and represent that you have all permissions needed to use, edit, export, publish, and distribute it.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the app to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass security, misrepresent authorship, remove legal notices, or falsely imply endorsement.

Availability

The app may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued. Features and performance may vary by device, operating system, source media, storage, and export settings.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Keep backups of original media.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Origin 51 LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, failed exports, lost productions, or third-party claims.

Termination

Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms, including the production-credit requirement.

Apple

Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, support, maintenance, warranties, or claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of applicable App Store terms.
